Adams to ring changes

Port Vale manager Mickey Adams pledged to make changes after the Valiants had failed to beat 10-man basement boys Hereford in a 1-1 draw at Edgar Street. Adams stated he was disappointed with the result and was highly critical of some of his players. "In the end we were very lucky as our goalkeeper (Stuart Tomlinson) kept us in the game with some great saves," said Adams. "But when you are up against a team which has gone down to 10 men you should win the game whoever you are. "I am bitterly disappointed with our last two games and I will be making changes next week. "I think that there are certain players at the club that are not handling the pressure of being at the top very well."
