LFC's board accepted NESV's £300m bid for the club on Tuesday. But the American duo claimed the board acted illegally and are dragging the case to the High Court in London. It had been hoped the case would be heard within two to five days, but yesterday it emerged it has not been listed for Monday. But fans today made their emphatic stance on the legal battle crystal clear. In the ECHO's phone and online poll 1,487 fans, out of a total of 1,673, said they wanted NESV to take over.In a show of how Reds value their roots, almost 60% of fans also called on the club to redevelop Anfield, rather than build a new stadium, which was favoured by just over 35%. A tiny 5.3% said they would prefer a joint stadium with Everton.
