Jefferson Louis makes his first Darlington debut after being selected in the starting XI against Hayes & Yeading this afternoon. He signed yesterday on a three-month loan from Gainsborough Trinity and goes straight into the team as one of three changes from the team which lost in midweek. Quakers lost 2-1 at Rushden & Diamonds and manager Mark Cooper has reacted by axing Jamie Chandler, Michael Smith and Chris Senior. In their place, as well Louis, is Gary Smith and John McReady. Both were dropped on Tuesday after being part of the side that lost 1-0 at home to Wrexham last weekend. Senior is on the bench, as is Tommy Wright who has only just recovered from injury and was used as a substitute on Tuesday. There is again no place for Liam Hatch. Cooper explained after Tuesday's game the striker has an injury. Last season Hatch played in an 8-0 win over Hayes & Yeading, coming off the bench for Luton Town during a game played at Kenilworth Road in March. Hayes & Yeading won 2-0 at home to Cambridge United in midweek but are 20th and have won away only once so far this season. Darlington have slipped to 11th having run into a poor run of form, winning only one of their last six games. Darlington (3-4-1-2): Russell; Miller, Hone, Austin; Arnison, Terry, G Smith, Brown; McReady; Powell, Louis. Subs: Lowson (gk), Waite, J Gray, Senior, Wright Hayes & Yeading: Lennie, Ferrell, Cadmore, Bygrave, Holmes, Malcolm, Hand, Pritchard, Yiadom, Brown, Patulea.
