Paul Gascoigne turns down Garforth Town manager's job

Paul Gascoigne has turned down the offer to manage non-League Garforth Town.The 43-year-old revealed last month that he was making a sensational return to football by taking the reins at the Evo Stik First Division North League club.But after days of uncertainty since the initial announcement, the two sides have been unable to reach an agreement. In 2004, they signed Brazilian legends Socrates and Careca. But the club's owner Simon Clifford insisted last month that the Gascoigne deal was different. 'This is not a publicity stunt,' he said.
