Socceroos wait on Cahill

Tim Cahill did not train with Australia on Wednesday and remains a major doubt for the Socceroos' friendly against Paraguay on Saturday. Cahill sat out the morning session to undergo treatment on his troublesome knee while national coach Holger Osieck put the rest of the Socceroos through a sharp 90-minute training session at Leichhardt Oval.It is understood the Everton star will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness for the clash against the South Americans, who made the quarter-finals at the 2010 World Cup.But while Cahill remains in doubt, striker Josh Kennedy should be okay after overcoming the virus that kept him out of yesterday's training run.
