Head coach Pearce has lost Trippier's Eastlands team-mate Micah Richards, Arsenal full-back Kieran Gibbs and Huddersfield goalkeeper Alex Smithies to injury for the upcoming UEFA Under-21 Championship play-off against Romania. Trippier, 20, has yet to play a first-team match for City and is currently in his second loan spell at Barnsley. He has previously represented England Under-20s and was due to join the Under-21 squad later this afternoon at their Norwich base. Pearce's youngsters are chasing a place at next summer's European Championship finals in Denmark, with the first leg of their play-off at Carrow Road on Friday and the second taking place in Botosani a week today. How highly do you rate Trippier? Have your say.| Submit Comments| Comments (2)| Printable VersionAdd A CommentEnter your comments:Sending
