Brighton defender Lewis Dunk has vowed not to get carried away despite manager Gus Poyet tipping him for a career in the top flight.
The 18-year-old made his first appearance of the season in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Tranmere due to Adam El-Abd's suspension.
An impressive display alongside Tommy Elphick had Poyet purring but Dunk is not getting too far ahead of himself.
"I am happy with my performance but I have got to keep my feet on the ground," he told the club's official website.
"All of my family make sure I am grounded and they don't let me get ahead of myself.
"Now I will keep waiting for my opportunities and hopefully show the manager what I can do, then see what happens from there."
