Trio called up to Scotland squad

Cameron Bell, Don Cowie and Kevin McNaughton have been drafted in to the Scotland squad ahead of their Euro 2012 qualifying double-header. Scotland face Czech Republic and Spain on Friday night and next Tuesday night respectively.Kilmarnock goalkeeper Bell, called up for the first time, replaces Matt Gilks who was sent back to Blackpool on Monday afternoon after failing to shrug off a dead leg.Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is to have a scan on a niggling thigh injury but it is understood he is not a doubt for Friday's game in Prague.Ibrox defender Kirk Broadfoot, though, left the Scotland camp earlier in the day with a foot injury which led to Cardiff full-back McNaughton getting the call.And although Lee McCulloch is suspended for the first game, he is also carrying a hip knock which led to manager Craig Levein calling up Watford midfielder Cowie.Scotland have four points from their opening matches against Lithuania and Liechtenstein.
