Scotland call up trio

Cameron Bell, Don Cowie and Kevin McNaughton have been drafted in to the Scotland squad ahead of the Euro 2012 qualifying double-header against the Czech Republic and Spain. Kilmarnock goalkeeper Bell, called up for the first time, replaces Matt Gilks who was sent back to Blackpool after failing to shrug off a dead leg. Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor is to have a scan on a niggling thigh injury but Press Association Sport understands he is not a doubt for Friday's game in Prague. Ibrox defender Kirk Broadfoot, though, left the Scotland camp earlier in the day with a foot injury which led to Cardiff full-back McNaughton getting the call. And although Lee McCulloch is suspended for the first game, he is also carrying a hip knock which led to manager Craig Levein calling up Watford midfielder Cowie. Scotland have four points from their opening matches against Lithuania and Liechtenstein.
