Yeovil Town have announced the signing of striker Sam Williams from Aston Villa.
Williams, who spent time on loan at Brentford, Walsall and Colchester last season, has put pen-to-paper on a two-year contract at Huish Park.
The 22-year-old arrived at Villa as a teenager in 2005 but failed to make a first team appearance for the Premier League club.
Meanwhile, Yeovil are to take a closer look at goalkeeper Alex McCarthy after handing the Reading youngster a trial.
McCarthy is set to feature for the Glovers in Tuesday night's friendly against Derby County.
