Lindsey sings Lincoln`s praises

Caretaker boss Scott Lindsey insists Lincoln`s new manager will inherit a strong team. The Imps are 22nd in League Two after losing 1-0 at Southend on Saturday in their first game since Chris Sutton`s resignation. Lindsey, who said after the defeat at Roots Hall that he did not wish to be considered for the post, added: "We have got pace in wide areas, players in the middle who can pass the ball, and centre-halves who will attack. "We are not that far away from being a good team, so whoever does come in, it is not a bad job for them to take over."
