Queudrue reveals Celtic snub

Franck Queudrue has returned to France and signed for Lens, claiming he shunned interest from Celtic to do so. The 32-year-old left-back was a free agent after leaving Birmingham in the summer.He trained with Peterborough, but then opted for a move to Greece with Panionios before pulling out of the move for family reasons.He has now opted to sign a one-year deal with Lens - the club where he started his career - and claims he shunned a move to SPL giants Celtic. "I am so happy to be back," the former Middlesbrough star told Lens' official website."I had others propositions notably from Celtic, which was very keen to sign me."But I didn't hesitate half a second to accept the proposition from chairman Gervais Martel."
