Reds reaction: fans views on Liverpool FC's draw against Sunderland

Roy Hodgson and Steven Gerrard 300After Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Saturday, many Reds fans gave their views on the game by commenting on the ECHO website.Although the majority were disappointed by yet another poor result for Hodgson's men this season, there was constructive criticism and debate on how LFC can improve.MBillge said: "For large periods of [the] game we were outplayed. If you play against us, all you need to do is get the ball wide."Our wide men are not natural wingers so they always come inside. This leaves loads of space down the flanks - just look at how many goals we have conceded this season from wide positions. "Another gripe is playing 4-5-1 at home. Why do we do this? Negativity at home just sends out the wrong message."We are LFC and should be on the front foot at Anfield every time."Anoopreds agreed that Liverpool's current problems lie out wide."We have played six and conceded nine in the Premier League. Of them, two have been penalties, one a Pepe mistake and the other six have been from crosses or corners," he said."This clearly points to poor full-backs. Time to make a few changes Roy - get Kelly in ahead of Johnson."
