David Prentice and Greg O'Keeffe on Everton FC's start to the season

Goodison Park 300In a live blog on the ECHO website this afternoon, EFC reporter Greg O'Keeffe and Deputy Head of Sport David Prentice answered readers' questions on Everton's start to the season. Both ECHO reporters gave David Moyes their full backing amid concerns about a poor showing in 2010/11 so far from some Blues fans.O'Keeffe said: "David Moyes leaving would be a disaster. There is nobody out there half as good who Everton could attract."I do however think this is a very important season in his reign and something has to arrive in the trophy cabinet soon." Prentice said that the blame for the below-par start to the campaign should not be laid solely at Moyes' door."I think the players have to accept the lion's share," he said. "For me Arteta and Pienaar have been very disappointing so far. Distin's had an incredibly shaky start and the strikers have been non-existant."But I don't think it's helped by playing Fellaini - who is one of our better performers so far - consistently out of position."
