Barnsley midfielder Jacob Butterfield has been impressed with team-mate Adam Hammill's stunning start to the season.
Former Liverpool trainee Hammill has scored four goals in five starts to help the Tykes up to 10th in the Championship.
"Adam is on fire this season. He's scoring the goals and playing really well," Butterfield told The Star.
"He did it in pre-season as well and he has managed to carry his form through.
"Hopefully he'll keep scoring and keep playing well. I think he could be a Premier player. He's still young, but he seems to be getting better and better.
"I wish him all the best. Hopefully he can fulfil his potential. I don't see why he can't make that step."
