Patrice Evra: Sort it out or Manchester United will never win the title!

Patrice Evra insists Manchester United can kiss goodbye to the title if they keep throwing away leads. Despite eventually beating arch rivals Liverpool 3-2, they relinquished a two-goal advantage before hat-trick hero Dimitar Berbatov nodded home the crucial winner.  Gaping holes: Steven Gerrard's free-kick goes straight through the wallEven in victory, Evra was furious with his side's inability to hold on to their lead and has issued a stark warning as they bid to keep pace with leaders Chelsea in the race for the Barclays Premier League crown. The Frenchman said: 'We need to stop this. We need to stop making things so nervous - we could have finished the game with a heart attack! 'I think all the fans enjoyed the match, but it's a concern that we let a two-goal lead slip again and it's left me not happy. Anger: Patrice Evra storms forward during United's win over Liverpool 'I don't know why we made the job hard - we could have made it much easier for ourselves. A similar thing happened at Everton. 'As I said, I'm happy to win the game, but we've got make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen again. 'You're playing at Old Trafford and winning 2-0 against Liverpool and then it's 2-2. If you end up drawing the game you can already say "how are you going to win the league if you draw that type of game?" Mine's a treble: Dimitar Berbatov heads home to save United's blushes 'It was an accident against Fulham, another accident against Everton, but if we'd have done it again, you could say it would make it hard to win the league.' Berbatov, who again hit back at his critics with a superb treble at Old Trafford, joined Evra in claiming that United must remedy their problems. The Bulgarian said: 'Let us hope in the future we won't complicate it so much. We have to keep working and improving on that. There is a long way ahead of us but hopefully in the end we will be on top.'  Man United hero Berbatov warns they need to cut out mistakes in title huntMan United 3 Liverpool 2: Berba's brilliant treble shatters Roy's boysManchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson accuses Liverpool star Fernando Torres of 'cheating'Gerrard: Liverpool deserved at least a point against Man UnitedMANCHESTER UNITED FC
