Former France David Trezeguet reveals he snubbed chance to join Liverpool

David Trezeguet has admitted he rejected a move to Liverpool in favour of joining newly-promoted La Liga side Hercules.The former France international, 32, who was also offered lucrative moves to Lazio and Roma,  turned down the opportunity of joining Fernando Torres in the Reds' attacking line-up. The drawn-out saga of Javier Mascherano's sale to Barcelona held-up any possible talks but the Frenchman revealed he ruled out any chance of a transfer to England.
