Simpson hopes to build on home win

Jay Simpson hopes Hull can "put things right" away from home this weekend after getting back on track at the KC against Derby on Tuesday. The 2-0 triumph over Derby was the Tigers first since their opening day victory over Swansea, and Simpson feels that Nigel Pearson's new-look side are beginning to gel.The former Arsenal forward has joined fellow new signings John Bostock and Robert in the team's creative hub, while influential playmaker Jimmy Bullard returned from a long exile against the Rams."Our home form has given us a good base and we just need to work hard and put things right when we travel to away games," Simpson told Hull's official website."Derby were in a similar position to us before the game so it was important to take points off them."It was nice to get things right at both ends as well because if you don't concede you're always going to come away with at least a point."
