Peter Crouch admits Spurs must learn to kill teams

Peter Crouch has admitted Tottenham must find a killer instinct to close games out if they are to progress in the Champions League.Spurs let slip a 2-0 lead at Werder Bremen in Germany on Tuesday night, as the Londoners drew their opening group game.Crouch, who scored Tottenham's second goal, said 'When you are away from home in the Champions League, the other team are always going to have chances. That gave them hope and made their half-time team talk a lot easier.'We needed to carry on what we were doing. We were murdering them at times, certainly down the left-hand side with Gareth Bale, who was fantastic again, and I think we could have gone on and got more.'We should have kept the ball more and kept going forward - we sat back a little bit and invited too much pressure on but that is something we will learn with experience.'
