Bullard to get Tigers reprieve

Hull manager Nigel Pearson is ready to offer out-of-favour midfielder Jimmy Bullard a lifeline at the KC Stadium. The Tigers have lost three of their opening five games in the Championship as they struggle for form.Bullard has been frozen out of the first-team picture after failing to secure a move away from Hull this summer. However, Pearson is prepared to throw Bullard back into the side for the upcoming games against Derby and Nottingham Forest as he looks to get Hull's season back on track."I'm prepared for him to be in the reckoning," said Pearson."Contrary to the way the story gets reported from time to time, there is an opportunity there. By no means have I written him out of the equation."When asked about Bullard's prolonged absence, Pearson added: "It would be wrong of me to divulge every aspect of the situation."I understand people's questioning and their angles but there are certain things that have to be kept in-house."All I would say is that there will be an opportunity at some point and it will be done in the interests of the group."
