Midfielder returns to the Macc

The left-sided player enjoyed a short spell on loan at Moss Rose last season and Alexander was keen to secure his services on a permanent basis. Daniel joined Crewe from Eastwood Town in 2007 and last season made 12 starts in League One for the club and also spent time on loan at Halifax and Leek Town. He said: "I knew over the summer that the gaffer wanted to keep me on and I'd really enjoyed my time here so it was an easy choice to make."
