Brighton manager Gus Poyet admitted Kazenga LuaLua will be hard pushed to score a better goal after the Newcastle winger marked the first appearance of his second loan spell with an astonishing free-kick.
LuaLua scored his first goal for Brighton and made the other for Glenn Murray to delight Poyet, who now has more attacking options at his disposal.
LuaLua's blistering free-kick shortly after the break was hit with so much power that it went through the hands of goalkeeper David Martin, and Poyet said: "LuaLua is a special player and he was desperate to score.
"I don't know if he'll score a more special goal, and this was the kind of performance we need to maintain."
