Wycombe forward Stuart Beavon has targeted a first-team goal this weekend as he celebrates a return to fitness from a broken leg.
Beavon broke his leg in May but made his first appearance of the season as a substitute at Accrington last weekend and followed that up with a goalscoring 90 minutes for the reserves on Tuesday.
He said: "I feel ready now to be honest and I want to get back involved.
"It has been massively frustrating because you don't want to miss pre-season because that is where you get the bulk of your fitness and then you are left playing catch-up.
"When you see new strikers come into the club you just want to be out there showing what you can do. But I am back now and raring to go.
"I have scored a few goals in the reserves and just want to get out there and bang goals in for the first team now."
