Bayern Munich have stepped up their pursuit of Chelsea right-back Jose Bosingwa.
The Germans have been after the Portugal international since the end of the season and Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has called for patience.
Bosingwa's form waned after a bright start at Stamford Bridge following his £16million move from Porto last season.
Sportsmail understands Bayern hope to get the Portugal international for £12m and Rummenigge said: 'We are convinced that Bosingwa will be very good for FC Bayern.
'I don't think that the opportunity to sign him has passed.'
