Dillon excited at McGlashan potential

Aldershot boss Kevin Dillon believes Jermaine McGlashan could have a big future ahead of him. The 22-year-old signed a one-year deal at the Recreation Ground in the summer, following trials with Bristol Rovers, Hayes and Yeading United and Southampton. McGlashan, who had spent his entire career in non-league, came off the bench in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Northampton and suitably impressed Dillon. "Jermaine came on and he's got two fouls, he's got three or four corners, he's crossed the ball in four or five times and that was in fifteen minutes - if that," he told the club's official website. "So, he's been a big difference to me but at this moment in time, he's just not quite ready to start but he's certainly an exciting prospect." McGlashan is expected to feature for the reserves when they kick-off their new Totesport.com campaign against Leyton Orient on Tuesday afternoon.
