Walker makes switch to Brewers

The 31-year-old becomes manager Paul Peschisolido's third signing this summer as the Canadian plans for the Brewers' return to the Football League. "I am absolutely delighted to get a player of Richard's experience. He has got an excellent goalscoring record and played at a much higher level and he is a really nice lad," Peschisolido told Burton's official website. "Richard will undoubtedly add to what we have already got and he will definitely improve us." Former Aston Villa trainee Walker joined Bristol Rovers in 2004 and scored 46 goals in 143 league appearances for the club and spent last season on loan at Shrewsbury.
