The summer transfer window came to a frantic end at 6pm. Look back over the day's events and all the latest deals on Football.co.uk's live blog. - Transfer Centre 6.15pm: Sunderland have sold young striker Martin Waghorn to Leicester City for a fee in the region of £3m - that'll pay off about 25% of Gyan then. 6.10pm: Wigan have confirmed the signing of Chelsea striker Franco Di Santo on a three-year deal. The Latics have also signed Manchester United youngster Tom Cleverly on a season-long loan. Stoke's Dave Kitson has moved to Portsmouth with Liam Lawrence looking likely to follow. Pompey skipper Marc Wilson looks set to move the other way. Strong rumours that Spurs winger David Bentley is set for a loan move to Fulham is Van der Vaart ends up joining Tottenham. 6.01pm: THAT'S IT, IT'S OVER! Carlton Cole's proposed move to Liverpool is off. Stoke City have signed Eidur Gudjohnsen and Jermaine Pennant on one-year loan deals. 6.00pm: BREAKING NEWS! Holland and Real Madrid star Rafael van der Vaart looks set for a shock move to Tottenham in the final few minutes of the transfer window. Ryan Babel's move to White Hart Lane has broken down. Pascal Chimbonda's proposed move to West Ham looks to be off. Birmingham City have completed the signing of Chilean World Cup star Jean Beausejour on a three-year deal. 5.45pm: Apologies for the delayed updates, a few technical issues at our end. Here are all the latest deals from the last hour and a half. - Sunderland have signed Asamoah Gyan from French club Rennes for a fee believed to be in excess of £13m - Robinho has joined AC Milan on a permanent deal, signing a long-term contract - Arsenal defender Armand Traore has joined Juventus on a season-long loan - Blackpool have signed DJ Campbell from Leicester City - Liverpool left-back Emiliano Insua has joined Turkish side Galatasaray on a season-long loan - Birmingham have signed Spartak Moscow captain Martin Jiranek on a one-year deal 4.00pm: ROBINHO is in Milan for a medical. That one is surely going ahead now. Read more here. Meanwhile Birmingham have signed former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb on a season-long loan deal. 3.15pm: Done deals! Paul Konchesky has completed his move to Liverpool, with Lauri Dalle Valle and Alex Kacaniklic move the other way to Fulham. Bolton have completed a season-long loan deal for Benfica striker Rodrigo Moreno and Reading have signed Blackburn defender Zurab Khizanishvili on loan for the season. The BBC are reporting that Stoke City have moved for Charles N'Zogbia and Liverpool's Lucas Leiva. 3.00pm: Depending on who you believe, Alberto Gilardino, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Carlton Cole and Fernando Llorente are all at Anfield hoping to seal a deal to Liverpool. Asamoah Gyan's proposed move to Sunderland still hasn't gone through, although Leicester City have signed Japanese international Yuki Abe. 2.45pm: Despite Harry Redknapp insisting that no more players will be joining Tottenham, South African defender Bongani Khumalo is apparently on the verge of a move to the Lilywhites. 2.30pm: Ryan Babel is in a helicopter on his way to London for talks with Tottenham, while West Ham striker Carlton Cole could be heading up north to link up with Roy Hodgson at Anfield. It's starting to get interesting again. 2.15pm: The lunchtime lull is broken by the news West Ham and Spurs are making a last-ditch lunge for Liverpool's Ryan Babel. West Ham also being linked to Everton's Joseph Yobo, that one direct from Rupert Murdoch's lot. Meanwhile, Lucas Leiva is planning to stay put at Anfield and fight for his place. Blackpool have confirmed the signing of Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Matt Phillips for an initial fee of £325,000. Let's hope this starts a flood of late activity. 1.30pm: Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp as poured cold water over the rumours surrounding White Hart Lane, insisting that he won't be signing anymore players today. Other sources are indicating that Spurs are still in the hunt for Ryan Babel, although they now face competition from West Ham. 1.00pm: More Spurs rumours flying in all the time. If you believe what people are saying then Scott Parker is undergoing a medical, Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo is on his way to White Hart Lane and Jermaine Jenas has rejected a move to Stoke. Apparently. 12.45pm: Done deal! Tottenham complete their first signing of the day, bringing Spartak Moscow's Croatian keeper Stipe Pletikosa in on a season-long loan. 12.30pm: BREAKING NEWS! Sources close to Football.co.uk are indicating that Manchester City are attempting to engineer a last minute swap deal involving Robinho and AC Milan's Ronaldinho. Whether any money would change hands is still not known, but it looks like one of the greatest Brazilians of all time could well be on his way to Eastlands. 12.00pm: Wigan and Blackpool are both looking to sign Portsmouth striker David Nugent on loan for the season, while the Latics are also eyeing Chelsea attacker Franco Di Santo. 11.45am: A massive rumour starting to emerge is that Turkish side Besiktas have mad a shock loan move for Tottenham striker Robbie Keane - more on that one to follow. Birmingham look like being one of the busiest clubs today, with some sources now claiming the club is close to completeing a loan swoop for former Arsenal man Alexander Hleb. 11.30am: German club Hoffenheim have completed the signing of Reading youngster Gylfi Sigurdsson for a fee beleived to around £6m, while Wolves have indeed completed a loan move for Marcus Bent. Liverpool defender Emiliano Insua has tweeted that he is close to a loan move to Turkish side Galatasaray, unsurprising as Fulham left-back Paul Konchesky looks certain to complete his move to Anfield later today. 11.00am: Wolves are set to sign striker Marcus Bent on loan from local rivals Birmaingham City, while Alex McLeish is close to securing a deal for Chilean World Cup star Jean Beausejour. Stoke are lining up a late bid to sign Wigan winger Charles N'Zogbia, who this week failed to agree a deal with Birmingham. A couple for Football League fans now with Leeds agreeing a fee to sign on-loan midfielder Adam Clayton on a permanent basis and Coventry apparently on the verge of bringing Bolton midfielder Danny Ward to the club on loan. Man City front-man Roque Santa Cruz looks certain for a move today, with Blackburn, Fulham and Liverpool all interested. Manchester United are also being linked with a last-ditch bid to bring Saint Etienne's central midfielder Blaise Matuidi to Old Trafford. A long-term replacement for Paul Scholes maybe? 10.00am: Sky Sports News are rpeorting that Emmanuel Adebayor and Shay Given will both be staying at Manchester City. Tottenham have moved their attention from Adebayor to Liverpool's out-of-favour winger Ryan Babel. Lots of rumours surrounding Everton, with David Moyes now 4/1 favourite to be named new Aston Villa boss, Manchester United bidding £10m plus Michael Carrick for Jack Rodwell and Spurs making an enquiry for Steven Pienaar. 9.30am: Rumoured Liverpool target Ola Toivonen missed PSV's draw with Den Haag at the weekend but the Dutch club insist it was down to flu and not a move to Anfield. Apparently Hodgson could turn to Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen instead. According to some sources Arsenal are set to launch a last-minute £14m bid for Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, while Fulham are interested in Real Madrid defender Royston Drenthe. 8.30am:Bob Bradley has seemingly ruled himself out of the Aston Villa job. Bradley has signed a new contract with the United States national team. Here's the story.Meanwhile, Birmingham manager Alex McLeish will look to put a fortnight of frustration in the transfer market behind him by completing the double-signing of Armand Traore and Martin Jiranek. West Ham are desperately trying to hold on to Scott Parker, but Spurs are lurking. Liverpool are also hovering around Upton Park, with a view to capturing Carlton Cole - watch this space. 8am: Good morning punters and welcome to deadline day. Just about anything can happen today and if only 0.1% of the massive rumours we're hearing come to fruition we're in for a thriller.
