Baines backs Moyes policy

Leighton Baines is confident Everton manager David Moyes will get it right again in the transfer market this summer. The Toffees boss is yet to delve into his limited funds during the close season but Baines, who joined from Wigan for £6million in August 2007, believes the Scot will unearth some more gems before the new campaign begins. The former Preston boss has already brought in key players such as Tim Cahill, Joleon Lescott and Mikel Arteta for knock-down prices over the years and the signs are that he will have to do it again. With Everton failing to match their more illustrious Premier League rivals in terms of finances, the left-back knows that Moyes will have to be just as astute as he has been in the past if the Merseyside club are to break into the top four."Not much tends to happen at this stage - it's more when we're back training," the 24-year-old told Everton TV.Backing"There's already been quite a few big money moves. Hopefully we can get involved in the market and strengthen the squad to give us a chance to kick on."It's been proven time and time again now that he (Moyes) does get it right."You could list the names and I think people all know the lads who he's brought in at really good prices who have done a fantastic job for this club."He won't be rushed, he's shown that in the past. He'll take his time and make sure he gets the right person at the right price."
