QPR boss Neil Warnock has been hugely impressed with Adel Taarabt since the Moroccan returned to Loftus Road.
Taarabt, who spent last season on loan with Rangers from Tottenham, penned a permanent deal in west London over the summer.
Such has been his impact, the skilful 21-year-old was named captain in the absence of the injured Fitz Hall at Sheffield United last weekend.
"He's been a cracking lad since his comeback and he's put a lot into his work because he's going to get some kicking," said Warnock.
"It shows character if you want the ball, knowing you are going to get kicked."
