We did improve in the second half but didn't put them underenough pressure.'Albion coach Michael Appleton said: 'We were pleased with our young boys coming in especially young Sam who has matured physically.'Once he was too easy to knock off the ball but we sent him out to Iceland for experience and he's come back a better player. 'As for the Premier League, that's more difficult and it could dependon whether we have injuries if he is to get his chance. But he has donenothing wrong with his performance.'  Carling Cup second round - all the action from Tuesday night's matchesSign up to our FREE Fantasy Football game - with £40,000 in prize money up for grabsWEST BROMWICH ALBION FC
