Birmingham boss Alex McLeish increases bid for Wigan star Charles N'Zogbia to £9million

Birmingham are set to make an improved £9m offer for Wigan's Charles N'Zogbia and are also keen on £2m PSV Eindhoven leftback Carlos Salcido. Wigan rejected Birmingham's last offer of £8.2m, saying they wanted closer to £10m plus an unnamed player.
