Newcastle agree £3.5m deal for Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Tiote
Newcastle United last night gave Cheick Tiote of FC Twente a medical after agreeing a £3.5m fee with his Dutch club. The 24-yearold defensive midfielder, capped eight times by the Ivory Coast, will require a work permit.
