Pearson expects vast improvement

Hull City boss Nigel Pearson is expecting a vastly improved performance from his side when they host Watford this weekend. The Tigers headed to Millwall last Saturday looking to make it two wins from two but instead found themselves on the end of a 4-0 hiding."Last week we didn't get anywhere near the type of performance I would expect from the players," said Pearson."This week has been about getting that out of our system and looking forward to the game on Saturday."We need to perform at a consistent, high level this season to get success and that is what we are aiming for."Watford are a hard-working side and they've had a decent start, so we've got to deal better with the strengths of our opponents and then play our own game."
