QPR boss Neil Warnock has admitted he missed out on his number one transfer target when Jon Walters opted to join Stoke. Warnock was ready to match Stoke's near-£3million bid for the Ipswich forward but has now gone back to the drawing board in his attempts to boost his firepower at Loftus Road.He told the Ealing Gazette: "Jonathan could have played up front or on the right and now I've got to look for two different players for the same role."
