Neymar torn over Chelsea move

Neymar insists he hasn't played his last game for Santos, hinting that he could accept the club's offer of a new contract rather than pursue the riches of Chelsea. The 18-year-old's father has promised to tell the Brazilian club on Friday whether a triple-your-money new deal worth £40,000 a week will be accepted. Chelsea are understood to be offering the player a five-year deal woth £55,000 a week and his agent Wagner Ribeiro admitted that Neymar was torn between joining one of the best teams in the world or staying at the club he loves for a few more years. Decision time: Neymar (right) must make up his mind where his future lies'The numbers offered by Santos cannot be compared with Chelsea,' said the agent. 'But Santos put together a wonderful career strategy for Neymar. 'I've never seen anything like it, but his family are the ones who will make the decision. Leave and he will achieve economic independence, stay and he can play for the  team he supports. 'Neymar and his father have personality. They know what they want and will  decide. The father has been a player and did not realise all his dreams. 'You can only become the world's best by playing in Europe, but there you also play with the best in the world.' Pele, Robinho and new Brazil coach Mano Menezes have all warned Neymar it is too soon to leave the country and after playing against Avai on Thursday night, he was asked if that was his farewell appearance. 'No, of course not,' he said. 'It's complicated (to talk). I'll go home and talk with my people and see how it looks.' Chelsea's offer could be academic unless they raise their £25million offer for the player. Santos insist they will not sell for less than Neymar's near-£30m release clause.   Chelsea tempt Neymar with huge deal as Brazil ace shuns Santos offerSign up to our FREE Fantasy Football game - with £40,000 in prize money up for grabsRobinho and Pele brought in to warn Neymar: Don't sign for Chelsea!Chelsea deny Neymar 'tapping up' claims as Blues prepare new £25m bid CHELSEA FC
