Goulding revels in Thomas rivalry

Cheltenham's Jeff Goulding has revealed he has a friendly rivalry with fellow striker Wesley Thomas over who will be the club's top scorer this season. Following his summer move from Bournemouth, Goulding opened his account for the Robins with the winner in their 3-2 win over Crewe - a match in which Thomas scored a brace. Goulding is more than happy to provide the assists for goal-poacher Thomas, but the 26-year-old wants to contribute with goals too. "Wes and I always have a little joke that I am the feeder and he is the scorer," Goulding told the Gloucester Citizen. "I was itching to score on Saturday and I was ecstatic to get off the mark. Hopefully we can get a few between us and I am going to be chasing him. "I am not going to say he is going to get 20 and I am going to get 10 because I'd love to beat him for the golden boot here this season and it's working well for us both so far."
