Ngog rules out Albion loan switch

iverpool striker David Ngog has quashed West Brom's hopes of taking him to The Hawthorns by reiterating his commitment to the Reds. The French youngster notched his first Premier League goal of the season on Sunday when blasting the opener in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Anfield.Manager Roy Hodgson stated in July that Ngog, a signing of predecessor Rafa Benitez, had a future at Liverpool. But West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo remains determined to try and force a loan move for the 21-year-old as the Baggies seek to increase their attacking options. Ngog, though, has no plans to leave Merseyside, telling his club's official website: "I am happy at Liverpool. I am focused on the club and I'm trying to do my best for Liverpool."I am a striker and I want to score a lot of goals for Liverpool. I work hard for this and so it's good when it comes off."
