Sullivan eyes further five years

Sullivan revealed that had Blues failed to gain promotion to the Premier League, they would have had to inject a further £10 million into the club to keep it afloat. And Sullivan - who retains a "long-term dream" to own West Ham one-day - offered a vague prediction of another five years with the Blues - although he admitted circumstances can change rapidly."I think we will be there for five more years realistically," he told Sky Sports news. "It could be one year, it could be 10 years, but I would say five years as an average."Sullivan also eased concerns over the immediate future of manager Alex McLeish, who was subject of speculation at the end of last season."Alex is determined to spend a couple of years at Birmingham and prove himself as a Premier League manager," Sullivan continued, "and then probably move on to a top six club."
