THE INSIDER: Liverpool look to snare Silva, Bolton target Tottenham's Tom and Black Cats pounce for

Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the biggest (and littlest) transfer moves this summer. His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why. A 5/5-rating  means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening Don't miss your daily instalment of The Insider every weekday through the transfer window here at Mail Online.   Tom Huddlestone Spurs to Bolton - The Insider says: 2/5 Bolton are desperate to add extra quality to their squad and will look to bring in some big names over the summer, but their image means other clubs may steal a march. Everton and Aston Villa have also been long-time admirers of Huddlestone who, despite his quality, has struggled to perform consistently enough to merit a starting place at Spurs. Spurs pair: Midfielder Tom Huddlestone is a target of Bolton, while Sunderland fancy striker Darren Bent Darren Bent Spurs to Sunderland - The Insider says: 3/5 A deal of around £10million has been in place for Sunderland since January. The problem for the Black Cats is interest from other clubs - Everton and Stoke are lurking, but may not have the ready resources of Sunderland. Bent would prefer to join a club in the top eight of the Premier League, but may not have too many offers. David Silva Valencia to Liverpool - The Insider says: 3/5 Benitez is a long-time admirer of the 23-year-old and wants to bring extra quality into his squad, but the Liverpool boss will have to make sacrifices elsewhere to find the cash. Real Madrid and Barcelona remain interested and have greater funds available, but Silva wouldlike to go to Anfield. His arrival could mean Benitez having to off-load Albert Riera. Up for grabs? Glen Johnson, Abdoulaye Faye and David Silva Glen Johnson Portsmouth to Liverpool - The Insider says: 2/5 Johnson and Liverpool seem a perfect match and the defender is keen to join Rafa Benitez, but the Reds may not have enough cash for all their potential new signings. Chelsea will step in with a substantial offer, as will Manchester City, and Bayern Munich and Spurs are also interested in the 24-year-old. Portsmouth have valued Johnson, who signed a new four-and-a-half deal with the club in January, at £15m, but the price could be increase by the end of the transfer window. Abdoulaye Faye Stoke to Blackburn - The Insider says: 2/5 Faye's strong performances for Stoke this season have caught the eye of Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce, who took the defender to Newcastle from Bolton in August 2007. Allardyce is a big admirer of the player, whose height and power could bolster Blackburn next season. But a new deal with Stoke could persuade Faye to stay at the Britannia Stadium, particularly as Stoke plan to add four or five names to their squad to capitalise on last season's 12th place finish.
