Prince-Boateng back at Spurs as Dortmund don't have the cash to keep him

Tottenham Hotspur flop Kevin Prince-Boateng will return to the London club after an unsuccessful loan spell with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. The 21-year-old German midfielder (right), a £5.8million signing during the Martin Jol era at White Hart Lane, struggled to adapt to life in the Barclays Premier League and was shipped out on loan in January. But after Dortmund failed to secure a place in next season's Europa League, the club do not have the funds to secure Boateng on a permanent deal. And Boateng is now ready to resume his White Hart Lane career and will report for pre-season training later this month. 'I have just heard from my advisor that there is no future for me at Dortmund,' Boateng told Bild. 'I will probably have to start next season back at Spurs.' Spurs confirm Redknapp quizzed again over alleged corruptionEx-Spurs star Berba picks positives from disappointing spell at UnitedBlow for Redknapp as Krancjar tells Tottenham: I'm staying with Pompey Chimbonda to leave Spurs again as Harry chases ex-Arsenal target CanaSunderland reject Cisse desperate to join Harry's revolution at TottenhamTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
