Santos still keen on Robinho

Santos refuse to rule out bringing Robinho back to Brazil, despite the Manchester City man's denial that he wants to return home. Robinho, 25, left Santos to join Real Madrid in 2005, and moved on to Eastlands in a £32.5million transfer last summer. It has been reported the talented schemer is unhappy in England but this has since been denied by both the player and his agent.Santos club president Marcelo Teixeira has not given up hope though and is keen to keep up his pursuit of his compatriot."We are in permanent contact with Robinho," Teixeira told GloboEsporte.com."He will be in [the city of] Santos for 25 days before going back to England."The situation is difficult in a financial aspect. The will of both parties is not enough."If the club [Manchester City] fulfil their promise of signing big players, Robinho will stay there because he dreams of being chosen the world's best player."If that does not happen, I think Santos will have the chance to bring the player back."
