Kaka pays Ancelotti tribute

Milan foward Kaka has paid tribute to former boss Carlo Ancelotti as he prepares for life at Giuseppe Meazza without him. Ancelotti announced on Sunday, the final day of Seria A, that he would be leaving the club by mutual consent with one year remaining on his contract. The decision has further fuelled speculation of a forthcoming switch to Chelsea where the managerial position is vacant as of Saturday's FA Cup final win.Ancelotti has been Kaka's coach and mentor at Milan for the last six years and, according to the Brazilian, has made him the player he is today."Carlo Ancelotti is a person I have very strong bond with thanks to these six years that I have spent here with him as my coach at Milan," said Kaka."I am grateful for what he has done for me and for what he has taught me. "He gave me the opportunity to be known as a footballer across the world and I have won a lot with him."I wish him all the best in everything."Kaka was named 2007 World Footballer of the Year under Ancelotti's guidance and is already being linked with a simultaneous switch to Stamford Bridge, should the Italian land the Chelsea job.Despite denying that any such move to London has been agreed, Ancelotti hinted that wherever he goes, Kaka is unlikely to follow."There is one player I would like to take, but I cannot take him with me," he said.MoveThe chances Kaka being at Stamford Bridge next season, regardless of who is in charge, remain very slim. After turning down a lucrative move to Manchester City in January, the Brazilian has already proved that money is not an important factor in his career.Fans' favourite Kaka has since been subject of even more affection from the Milan supporters after his decision to remain with the club, and has since signalled his intentions to remain with the Rossoneri for the rest of career. Meanwhile Ancelotti's successor at the club has already been revealed and is expected to be confirmed at a press conference tomorrow."Tomorrow there will be this press conference to present somebody who will lead Milan to win a lot," said Kaka. The man in question is Kaka's compatriot and Milan legend Leonardo, who will begin his first managerial job this summer.
