Saddlers set for Chesterfield

Walsall have been drawn at home to Chesterfield in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Section (West). The Saddlers bowed out at the first-round stage last season on penalties to Bury after a goalless 90 minutes at the Bescot Stadium. The tie will be played in the week commencing August 30.
