Sbragia fires final day warning

Ricky Sbragia has told his players not to take anything for granted on the final day of the season. Sunderland are well placed to avoid relegation and will definitely stay up if they beat Chelsea at the Stadium of Light on Sunday. They could even lose and survive, depending on how Hull City and Newcastle fare, but Sbragia is aware of the worst possible scenario.Bradford staged a remarkable escape in 2000 when David Wetherall's goal sealed a decisive victory over Liverpool, and Sbragia has warned his men to leave nothing to chance. He said: "I am confident we still stay in the Premier League. I am confident - but we have got to go and do it."I can remember Bradford playing Liverpool and nobody gave Bradford a hope in hell, and they won 1-0, so it can always happen.Bravery"We have got to go out there and be a bit braver and take the game to them."Anything can happen in football, and we hope we can come out with a win."Sbragia accepts there is nothing false about Sunderland's position in the table after a campaign of many ups and downs. He said: "It's happened over the 38 games, we have not been consistent enough."From our point of view, we have conceded too many and not scored enough, so it is down to consistency."We have had many chances to get out of the position we are in - we have not taken them and we are down to the final game."
