Boss Gunn prepares to hold fire

Gunn, Ian Butterworth and Ian Crook will form the club's management team next season as the Canaries aim to bounce straight back into the Championship following their recent relegation. "There's a lot of people on holiday but at the same time agents are on the phone recommending players and it's a case of sifting through as many people as possible and deciding whether we need to move," Gunn told the Eastern Daily Press. "I would think it will be a domino effect - when one goes, one comes in. "Not having been in the managerial seat before it's one of those things you want to happen as quickly as possible but I realise it's not going to happen overnight. Patience is the key. We have to make sure we build a squad that is competitive in this league."
