Carlo Ancelotti dismisses talk of Ashley Cole leaving Chelsea

The Chelsea coach reminded player and suitor that the England left-back remains an integral part of his squad and that no sum would persuade Chelsea to part with him. Ancelotti has barely spoken to Cole about his future, other than to instruct him to bring his boots to Wembley.  Related ArticlesChelsea v Manchester United: match previewLampard's Chelsea reliefRamires set for Chelsea medicalHamburg 2 Chelsea 1Joe Cole v Yossi BenayounFerguson: World Cup was poor"I read that his agent spoke on Wednesday, and I read that Ashley Cole wants to go. My answer was I told him to stay at Chelsea because he is a fantastic player and there's no price to sell him," Ancelotti said. "He has a contract, I don't know how long. I want to respect this. We have not heard anything from Real Madrid. I don't need to speak to Ashley Cole."Ancelotti was equally reticent about the impending arrival of Benfica's Brazilian playmaker, Ramirez. "Until now he is a Benfica player. I don't know if he will be here. I can't speak about him now," he said. The Cole-Ramirez discussions prompted much rolling of the eyes at Chelsea's Cobham training ground, where Ancelotti and his players regrouped ahead of the Community Shield fixture with Manchester United after a disappointing pre-season tour of Germany, in which Chelsea lost all three matches. The team who began Wednesday's game against Hamburg, including Cole, will start on Sunday. "I think that for both teams it's an important game. It is the first important check of the season. "We want to see what our condition is. Also playing Manchester United never is an easy game and we want to do our best," Ancelotti said. "United could be the most important opponent this season, like they were last season. "For this, I think that we need to come back to winning ways. We lost the last three friendlies. They were friendlies but we're not happy to lose too many games."Ancelotti is without injured trio Petr Cech, centre-back Alex and right-back Jose Bosingwa, while Didier Drogba will start from the bench. Branislav Ivanovic partners John Terry in the centre of defence with Paulo Ferreira replacing the Serbian at right-back. Ancelotti backed Terry to return to his best form after an uncertain night against Hamburg. "He made some mistakes but this is normal," he added.
