Morten Gamst Pedersen has revealed he had offers from other clubs before committing his future to Blackburn. The Norwegian's future was in doubt after talks over a new contract stalled, but in May he agreed a four-year deal.Pedersen, who joined Rovers from Tromso in 2004, is now eagerly anticipating the new campaign ahead at Ewood Park.He said on Sky Sports News: "I got offers from other clubs, it is not like I try to hide away, but Blackburn have always been my No.1."At one stage I almost lost my focus a little bit of what I wanted to do, so I just put that to the side and tried to play my football, and it worked well for me."You can think the grass is always greener, but I am happy to be here and am looking forward."With reports of a possible takeover at Blackburn ongoing, Pedersen is hopeful of new signings before the transfer window closes.He added: "If we get some money to spend so we can buy some quality players that will be good for us."
