Accrington could hand debuts to new recruits Sean Hessey and Charlie Barnett for their clash against Aldershot.
Stanley get their season under way hoping to mount a play-off push boosted by the pair's arrival.
Defender Hessey, 31, and midfielder Barnett, 21, penned one-year deals after the club had their transfer embargo lifted earlier in the week.
Assistant manager Jimmy Bell believes Barnett "ticks all the boxes" and told the Lancashire Telegraph: "He is a player who can take us a step on.
"He's a central midfielder who can play in the holding role or a bit further forward."
Manager John Coleman has a clean bill of health for the encounter with new winger Andy Parkinson also hoping to feature in a fresh-looking midfield.
