Christian Poulsen's proposed move from Juventus to Liverpool picks up pace

Uefa has charged Macedonian side FK Rabotnicki over allegations of racist chanting in last week's Europa League qualifying game against Liverpool. Pictures emerged that showed Rabotnicki fans appearing to direct 'monkey' taunts at Liverpool players. Liverpool started the game with two black players in David Ngog, who scored twice in the 2-0 win in Skopje, and 19-year-old winger David Amoo. Uefa has charged Rabotnicki with the improper conduct of supporters. A statement from European football's governing body read: 'The Uefa control and disciplinary body has opened a disciplinary case against FK Rabotnicki for the improper conduct of supporters during their Uefa Europa League third qualifying round first-leg match against Liverpool FC on July 29 in Skopje, FYR Macedonia. The case will be dealt with by the control and disciplinary body on Aug 19.'
