Collector's Item For Ramsay

Every cloud has a silver lining. Cowdenbeath wide man Mark Ramsay was able to see one bright spot in his side’s 2-1 defeat by Clyde on Saturday in the Co-operative Insurance Cup. His goal means he has equalled last season’s goal total already. Ramsay scored with a header to pull Jimmy Nicholls side back into the game with 12 minutes left, however it was too little too late. The winger said: “The only good thing was that I have equalled my goal scoring achievements already. We have set our standards higher than that and it was disappointing after doing well against Raith Rovers last weekend. We never kept the ball well enough and got punished for it.” Scoring with his head is a rare feat for the diminutive Ramsay who added jokingly: “At four foot five I don’t get many headers so it was a bit of a collector’s item.”  Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba.net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
